Visit Bắc Giang

Bac Giang is a province in northeastern Vietnam, located along the Chinese border. It is known for its rich cultural and natural heritage, and is home to many historic sites, lush forested hills and traditional villages. The city of Bac Giang itself is surrounded by green fields and orchards, making it an ideal spot to relax or explore.

For tourists visiting Bac Giang, two must-see attractions are the Long An Temple and Nui Lang Biang Mountain. The Long An Temple was built in the 17th century as a place of worship dedicated to Confucius. Its intricate carvings depict stories from religious texts that are popular in Vietnam today. Nui Lang Biang Mountain offers beautiful views of rolling hills with winding paths leading up its slopes. At the top there are temples built into caves that offer insights into Buddhist culture and history in Vietnam.

An interesting historical fact about this region concerns how it was once part of China's Han dynasty until it became an independent state during the 11th century under King Ly Thai To's rule when he established his court at Co Loa Citadel near Hanoi City - making this one of oldest capitals sites in mainland Southeast Asia!
