Visit Cà Mau


The Ca Mau is a province located in the southernmost tip of Vietnam. It is renowned for its lush scenery and coastal beaches, as well as its rich heritage and culture. The region covers an area of 8,126 km2 and is home to approximately 1.8 million people.

The Ca Mau region features many tourist attractions including the Xeo Quyt Ecological Tourist Area which contains a vast array of bird species and other wildlife; and the Ngoc Hien District, known for its stunningly preserved Vietnamese-style houses with thatch roofs, making it an ideal destination for any architecture or history enthusiast.

For more adventurous travelers, there are also some fascinating historical sites dotted around the province that date back many centuries such as Ba Binh Citadel which was built in 1695 by Nguyen Dang Trung to protect locals during wartime battles against Chinese forces.

Visitors can also enjoy various water activities such as sailing on traditional boats in Mang Thit river or explore nearby U Minh Thuong National Park where one can observe numerous rare plants species found only within this marshland habitat.
