Visit Khánh Hòa

Khanh Hoa (also spelled Khanh Hoa) is a coastal province located in central Vietnam. Its capital, Nha Trang, is the most populous city in the province and one of the premier tourist destinations in Vietnam. Rich with culture and history, Khanh Hoa also offers stunning beaches, thick forests, and an array of wildlife for visitors to explore.

One must-see tourist site is Po Nagar Cham Towers which are a series of ancient Hindu temples built by the Champa people between the 7th and 12th centuries. The nearby Hon Mun Island Marine Protected Area is a great spot for snorkelling or diving with its crystal clear waters and abundant coral reefs.

A lesser known but still fascinating historical fact about Khanh Hoa is that it was one of the first regions to be colonized by French forces after they invaded Indochina in 1858. In 1896 it became part of Annam Province before eventually being separated into its own province again in 1952.
