Visit Nghệ An


Nghe An is a province in the North Central Coast region of Vietnam. It is renowned for its beautiful landscapes, stunning shorelines and abundance of cultural attractions. The province has many historical sites which provide great insight into the culture and history of Vietnam. One such site is the Ho Citadel which dates back to the 18th century and was used as a defence against foreign invaders.

The tourist hotspots in Nghe An are Po Klong Garai Tower, built during the 13th century by Cham people, and Cua Lo Beach - an idyllic spot boasting picturesque sand beaches lined with palm trees perfect for sunbathing or swimming in warm waters.

Nghe An also has many interesting historical facts associated with it including being one of the first provinces to proclaim independence from French rule after World War II, thanks to General Vo Nguyen Giap led battles at Dien Bien Phu and later Quang Tri Province which served as a major turning point in Vietnamese history.
