Mashonaland Central Province is located in the north-central region of Zimbabwe. It is known as the "heartland" due to its location, and it is one of the country's 10 provinces. One interesting historical fact about this province is that it is home to some of Africa's oldest rock art uncovered at Ngorima Hills near Hartley Hills in 2008.
