Gander is a small city in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador, located near the eastern tip of North America. It is best known for being an important stopover point for transatlantic flights during the Second World War and playing a major role in Operation Yellow Ribbon. Gander is renowned for its friendly people, stunning landscapes and great outdoor activities.

Visitors to Gander can experience some of the region's unique cultural attractions, such as the North Atlantic Aviation Museum which houses many aircrafts with deep ties to the history of Gander International Airport; or explore one of its many parks like Alexander Bay Park which offers fantastic views out over Lake Gander.
