The European Parliament, located in Strasbourg, France, is a significant symbol of European unity. It is one of the largest parliamentary institutions in the world, where members from 27 EU countries convene to discuss and decide on European legislation, budgets, and supervisory tasks. The Parliament’s building, the Louise Weiss building, is a modern architectural marvel that reflects the transparency and openness of the institution.

Visitors to the European Parliament can explore the Hemicycle, the Parliament’s debating chamber, where important decisions are made. They can also visit the Parlamentarium Simone Veil, an interactive visitor center that provides a unique insight into the European Parliament’s work and the impact of its policies on citizens’ lives. This center also offers a 360-degree virtual reality tour, allowing visitors to experience the Parliament’s work firsthand.
