Visit Saitama Prefecture


Saitama Prefecture is located in the Kanto region of Japan. It borders Tokyo to the south and is a short train ride away from many of Japan's major cities. Saitama is known for its great outdoors, with plenty of parks and nature reserve areas to explore. A popular tourist attraction in Saitama is Kawagoe, also known as "Little Edo" for its old-fashioned buildings and streets. Its main street has several historical buildings, including the bell tower that dates back to 1648! Another popular spot is Nagatoro, an area with beautiful gorges and rivers where visitors can go rafting or boating while taking in stunning natural views. The prefecture also features a number of museums showcasing artifacts from ancient times such as the Iwatsuki Castle Ruins Museum. With so much to explore, it's no wonder why Saitama Prefecture continues to be one of Japan's top tourist destinations!
