Discover Vientiane

Vientiane is the capital of Laos, situated on the banks of the Mekong River. It is a city steeped in history and culture, with many stunning temples, monuments and other architectural gems to discover. The beautiful cityscape features a blend of traditional Lao and French colonialism architecture from when it was part of French Indochina. There are numerous attractions to explore in Vientiane including That Luang Stupa, Patuxai Victory monument, Talat Sao shopping area and COPE Visitor Center which educates visitors about UXO casualties.
