Visit Leova

The Leova region of Moldova is located in the south west of the country and is known for its sandy, rolling hills. In the summertime, it's a popular destination for tourists from all over Europe due to its beautiful vineyards and well-preserved 18th century churches. The local villages are also full of interesting attractions like Chirileni Monastery or Tipova Cave Monastery which both have incredible views overlooking nearby gorges.

Leova is also home to some historical sites including Vulturi Fortress, built in the 15th century by conquering Turks as an outpost, and Spataru Manor House which was built during Moldovan nobility reign at the end of 19th century.

A trip to Leova wouldn't be complete without visiting Gurile Prutului National Park - a protected area where one can observe many species of birds and animals living in their natural habitat alongside picturesque scenery with cascading waterfalls along rocky riverbanks. Finally, a fun fact about Leova: It has been described as Russia's greenest city due to its extensive tree plantations that cover almost 75% of the entire region!
