Victoria Beach, located in the city of Laguna Beach, United States, is a hidden gem known for its serene beauty and crystal-clear waters. This secluded public beach is a favorite among locals and tourists for its pristine sands and stunning ocean views. The beach is also famous for its iconic “Pirate Tower,” a 60-foot tall structure that adds a touch of whimsy and mystery to the scenic landscape.
While visiting Victoria Beach, one must not miss the opportunity to explore the Pirate Tower, which is actually a private staircase for a house perched on the cliff. Another unique feature is the circular pool built into the rocks, filled with ocean water during high tide. Directions
The public beach access isn’t easy to see, but it’s right next to address 2713 Victoria Drive. This is a long stairway that eventually gets down to the far north end of the beach. There is also an emergency vehicle beach access ramp and public walkway at the end of Dumond Drive that is an easier walk from Coast Highway 1.
Plan your visit
- Bring a bathing suit and beach towel so that you can take advantage of the prime beachfront location.
- Be prepared for the summer heat and pack sunscreen and plenty of water to stay hydrated throughout your visit.
- Take time to explore the various tide-pools filled with sea life during low tide hours at Victoria Beach.
- Make sure you look out for surfers and swimmers in the water before entering or taking photos near lifeguard towers on shorelines or piers nearby Victoria Beach .
