North Cascades National Park is an incredible outdoor destination located in the city of Sedro-Woolley. This park provides visitors with a wealth of activities and breathtaking views. Stretching from the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest to the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, this park spans more than 500,000 acres of rugged terrain. It’s home to picturesque mountains beds, flowing rivers, cascading waterfalls, and glacier-laden peaks.
Visitors can take advantage of countless hiking trails that explore the region’s lush forests or even try their hand at camping and backcountry exploration. Notable sights include devastating Diablo Lake with its milky blue waters and majestic Ross Dam that overlooks it. Other highlights include Liberty Bell Mountain which has one of Washington’s most spectacular summits as well as Sahale Glacier located high up in North Cascades’ majestic mountain range.
