Visit Torba

The Torba of Vanuatu is a group of islands in the South Pacific Ocean. It is located east of Australia and north of New Zealand. With its crystal clear waters and lush forests, it is a beautiful destination for tourists looking for an exotic getaway.

Torba offers visitors an abundance of activities to enjoy, from scuba diving and snorkeling on pristine coral reefs to exploring bubbling volcanoes or climbing mountains in search of ancient cave drawings. There are numerous cultural experiences to be had as well; take a trip to Ambae Island, where you can learn about traditional dance rituals still practiced today or visit Ureparapara Island's historical sites, including the famous Chief's House built centuries ago.

Vanuatu was first visited by Europeans in 1606 when Spanish explorers charted the islands, however it wasn't until 1887 that they were annexed by Britain and France as part of the Anglo-French protectorate. Since gaining independence in 1980, Vanuatu has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in the South Pacific region with people visiting its archipelago every year.
